As you are aware, my blog’s mission is to serve the people with positive entertainment. As I clearly stated in my “About Me” page, I use my blog as a positive platform to make people smile – to empower and inspire them.

One of my BIG inspirations to date is the successful and hit show, Iyanla, Fix My Life on the OWN network. Her words and passion are so inspiring and it encourages me to “do my work!” If you are a fan of the show (which I think we all should be), one of Dr. Iyanla’s tag lines are to “do the work.” What does this simple, yet powerful statement mean? It means you have to do the ground work before you get to your life’s goals whether it’s personal or career oriented. No one is an overnight success. You have to go thru the rejections, pain, failures to reach that peak that you are trying to accomplish. Nothing in life is easy. Life is not complicated folks, WE, the people, are the ones who complicate it. So, “do your work” by investing in your abilities and climbing the ladder to YOUR success. You will appreciate it all when you get to the top because you know what you endured to get to that place. Then, you can sew that same seed into someone else so they, too, can be inspired and take that same journey. We look at celebrities and think they are living the perfect life, but do we know their story of getting there?
