Oscar and Emmy-nominated actress, Taraji P. Henson, is no stranger to magazine covers. These past few months, she has graced covers for popular magazines like, ‘W’ Magazine, Allure and Glamour and now she is the cover girl for the November issue of Essence Magazine.

Essence shared a sneak peak of the interview with us. Check out these excerpts from her interview:

When asked about her strong work ethic and efforts:
