We’re going to be talking about some of my personal favorites that I’ve recently purchased and been using over the past month. I hope you guys are ready for this because I surely am! So, let’s get into it!

All About The Skin

My husband and I just recently celebrated our 2-year anniversary in San Antonio and of course I had to go by the MAC store! I picked up the new/relaunched Lightful Cleanser and Softening lotion spray! I mean you guys, my skin has never been better! I have oily combination skin and these two together not only balance the oils in my skin, but helps reduce the appearance of dark spots and brightens the skin! They added vitamin C in all there ‘Lightful’ line so trust and believe, I will be adding more of this collection to my daily skin care routine.

Baking…The Face That Is

We all know that “baking” is the new thing in the cosmetic world. And I don’t know how I did my makeup without it! My go-to have-to-have without a doubt is the Laura Mercier translucent powder! Not only is it good to set your under eyes to prevent creasing, its perfect to set your entire face and give you a beautiful matte finish! It has no flash back which is a plus, times a million, even great for my beautiful deeper brown skin women. Because at the end of the day, nobody wants to look ashy or have that lingering white cast under their eyes.

Primers, please!

We can’t end this monthly favorites without talking about having a flawless skin finish! Current three favorites are: Benefits Porefessional, MAC Timecheck lotion and Refined Skin Zone (also from MAC). The Benefit’s primer isn’t something new, it’s been around for a while, I just always passed it up. With this amazing primer in my life, I’ve never had as many compliments on my makeup! This product minimizes pores and helps controls oil all day! Yes, please! The time-check lotion acts an anti-aging gel formulated moisturizer and primer all in one! Not only does it help the appearance and fine lines, wickless and pores, it actually fixes them! Over time, you will see less appearance of these trouble areas. The Skin Refined Zone does the same thing, but acts as a treatment. You can put this on at night when going to bed, under you makeup as a primer or keep it in your purse to touch up when you start to get oily, without shifting your makeup! Amazing, I know! These three products have really dropped the mic in my book!
