New Wingstop Flavor
4/6/15 Update from last post (drum roll please): The new flavor is………SERRANO PEPPER GLAZE!! Hey Guys...
Blue Apron delivers original, step-by-step recipes and fresh ingredients to customers nationwide. Our menus change every week, so with each delivery, you learn to cook inventive new dishes with seasonal ingredients. By letting us source these hard-to-find ingredients for you, you’ll get food that is fresher and cheaper than you can get at your local supermarket, and there’s no waste because we only send you what you need for each recipe.
We named our company “Blue Apron” because chefs around the world wear blue aprons when they’re learning to cook, and it has become a symbol of lifelong learning in cooking. We believe you’re never done learning in the kitchen, so we design our menus to ensure you’re always learning new cooking techniques, trying new cuisines, and using unique ingredients.
Blue Apron is a weekly subscription service with no commitment – you can skip a week or cancel at any time with a week’s notice. We can’t wait to cook with you!
I hate grocery shopping.
I repeat – I hate grocery shopping. I have to literally talk myself into going.
With companies like Blue Apron, I am able to at least limit my time and frequency to the grocery store because every week, I’ll be getting “groceries” delivered directly to my door with FREE shipping! And, if I don’t want the items that are featured on their hosts of weekly menus, I can just skip a week with no penalties, and no costs!
I’ve talked about my healthier lifestyle approach and Blue Apron in a previous post, so it’s important that I now act upon it and put this talk into some serious action!
Now that you know what’s cookin’ (pun intended) with Blue Apron and who they are, I want to show you how I anxiously unloaded my delivery and explained the menu items & recipe cards I received.
Visit my Snapchat (@blogxpressions) to watch me unload my first delivery! Hurry, snaps disappear in 24 hours!
I’ll revisit this post to add the Snapchat story via my Dropbox if you missed the window.
My first two chosen dinners were Beef Medallions with Mashed Potatoes & Balsamic Pan Sauce and Sweet Pepper Chicken with Datali Pasta & Spinach:

Be sure to follow me on Snapchat & Instagram (@blogxpressions), as I will be chronicling the behind-the-scenes of my workouts, food, and my final Blue Apron meals once I’m done preparing them.
